A couple of WNBA questions

Why was Yolanda Griffith waived from the Indiana Fever after she was injured? Don't the teams have to keep an injured player until they have recovered and isn't the team (Indiana Fever) responsible for the medical bills at least?

Why wasn't Mahorn the new Coach of the Detroit team given at least one technical for not staying behind the coach's Line? He spent most of the first half closer to mid court than his bench. I will say it looked like the refs did talk to him but apparently with little effect.

I just found the 501 must read books book

I have read 43 of the books listed in "501 Must Read Books" edited by Emma Beare. I love to read so that is why I grabbed the book. Some of the books do not appeal to so I may not read them. "A Wrinkle in Time," by Madeleine L'Engle got me interested in Science Fiction to this day. I was delighted to see almost all genres included. Westerns were not included unless I missed one. I like Zane Grey's books. One of my all time favorites "Lost Horizons" by James Hilton is listed. Disappointed not to see a book by Nevil Shute or Dumas listed.

What Happen to the Golden Rule

The news seems to be filled with folks killing each other for "being dissed"; other folks getting their fifteen minutes of infamy with mass killings and an overall negativity in sociey. When I was a kid I would see the Golden Rule posed on billboards all over the place. Now I never see one nor do folks seem to know what it is. I am an optimist and I try to follow the Golden Rule. The Golden Rule is simply treat folks the way you want to be treated.

I grew up on military bases (my father spent twenty years in the Army). The family quarters area of the different posts where I live were desegregated and at times being the
WASP I was at the time was the minority( I am Catholic now). The kids in the neighborhood all played together and I didn't notice any racial overtones. We accepted each other for what we were personality wise not based on race or sex. I will admit that I couldn't play baseball unless they let my brother play (My mother didn't like that I was such a tomboy).

Yes I am rambling. But please try to follow the Golden Rule. Wiki entry for Golden Rule at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethic_of_reciprocity
